This morning there was a letter waiting for me on the table. It was addressed to Ms and Mr with Kittens. I have mentioned already that there are three little kittens living in my backyard. One is black, one has stripes and one is black-white. The loudest of them is the black one. Always when I pass a box in which they live, the little one starts whining and follows me. I call it Sirena. A little siren.
The letter was placed in my mailbox by our 'neighbor with the green fence', as she wrote on the envelope. Her name is Špela. I didn't know that before because this family is kind of isolated and as this girl goes to another school than the rest of the children in our street, she usually doesn't play with them. A pity for her, the kids really have lots of fun out there.
Špela asked us if she can have the black kitten. I feed four cats and now there are three more to be fed soon - I think that everybody knows my answer to her request. I will go and meet her today. I hope she doesn't change her mind. When I saw the envelope this morning I thought it was from my neighbors next door with a request to get rid of the cats. That's what they would like me to do. No matter what the method of getting rid of them would be. Next month all the four cats will go to the vet. They need to be sterilized and castrated. I wish so much to have only one of them. The black one which I call Pikec and who looked like a little devil when he was young. Clever cats, no doubt!
