Paper flowers

After the conference held yesterday in Ljubljana I went shopping. To relax a bit after all the stress I went through the last couple of weeks organizing the event. I actually more looked than bought. I saw a nice idea in a craft store - paper flowers. You might like them too, so here's the photo:Nice flowers for winter time or dark spaces in our homes. I saw some beautiful linen fabric but I have to figure out what I would sew and then buy it as it is not so cheap.

Another project is waiting for me this weekend. We will have our annual Street festival/feast on 7 June. Last year we had the first one, organized by my close neighbors and me & Mr Ž. Other neighbors were invited too but just for a drink and a quick chat. They are invited again this year. My close neighbors had actually not been aware that the feast was approaching so quickly. Each of us will prepare some food and I guess there will be too much of everything again. I have to check some cook books in the library and decide what to prepare. I know already that I will bake some bread and cookies but for the rest - I have to find something delicious and not too complicated. I will take care for the decoration and I am really looking forward to be creative again.
