Garden in October

Raspberries - the autumn ones are more delicious than those ripe during the hot summer days. They are much bigger too.
Kale - the nicest one. Leaves were eaten by slugs. Well, some have to live their peaceful life.
Carrots - even the smallest ones will be eaten. Late harvest. There are still carrots in the earth - it is the best way to store them. We will have lots of leeks on the menu in the next weeks. And lots of eggplants - I picked them all due to frost. As well as peppers. I left pumpkins in the garden, they are so delicious - even Ž noticed that. So, next year I will plant them again.

It is pleasantly warm these days and it is so much easier to work outside than it was in September. Whole week to look forward to. At least to the afternoons when I come home from work...
