Still here

Hey, I am still here, writing the latest news from this part of the world. It feels good. I remember how I missed blogland last year and I am sure I will miss you all a tiny bit during these holidays, too.

I was shopping yesterday and I can say that I am pretty much satisfied with what I've brought home. This year presents will be small but it is more important that we all get together on Christmas evening and spend some nice time in my parent's cozy living room. Hopefully I will finally get so desired table and chairs for my dining room this spring, paint the walls, get some lamps and furniture for the living room, so maybe, maybe we will be able to celebrate the next Christmas evening at my place. That would be so great!
Finally I have enough paper for the Christmas cards, so I made another couple just before going to bed last night. I will take some pictures of them when they are all finished. This year nice Christmas stamps were issued by our post office.

I am so much looking forward to the afternoons these days, and especially to the next week when I will have all days just for myself. To wrap the presents, decorate the tree and windows, bake some biscuits, maybe read a book or two. Of course, to clean the house and run other home errands. It will be time to visit grandparents and meet some friends. We will probably have no snow for Christmas but perhaps on a sunny day I will drive all the way to the mountains to take some gorgeous photos of snow crystals and make snowballs. This is how it should be but I am sure that there will be some kind of surprise for me again. It is still 2008, right! :)
