Never put off until tomorrow what you can do today.
I will never learn to do it some other way, I guess. I was enjoying in the coziness of the morning, looking at the snow in front of my door. "I will shovel away that later, when I come back from Ikea," I thought. Yes, right, I did. It is just that I wasn't back at 5 p.m. but at 8:30. Instead of admiring the stuff in the shopping bag, I had a shovel in my hand. Nice exercise, though.I said to my friend when we were driving home in the evening that her children would hate me because always when we go together to Ikea we spend HOURS in there. We drove to Graz, the road was better than that one to Klagenfurt. Nice, because I could buy some fabric which is not available in Klagenfurt. I always spend too much time at the fabric department and then we rush through all the others. Well, there was lots of nice stuff, some new, some old. Still lots of things to come to my home one day.
Tomorrow I will be counting birds again. International Waterfowl Count is on the schedule again. A few hours of freezing in search for the birds. Ducks and such. If you are in Ljubljana on Sunday morning, you are invited to join an excursion in park Tivoli which will start at 9. It will be fun and hopefully there will be lots of birds, too. Though I will not be there. Not this time. Maybe in February. Or in March. :)

good to know that you are also a fabric addict ;-)) nice fabrics
Mmm, I haven't been to Ikea in a while. Looks like I'll have to go just to check out their new fabric.
I thought of you the other day when I was watching a show on dragons. Apparently Slovenia (especially Ljubljana) is well known for the many dragon statues, symbols, architectural details and history. It was such an interesting show.
I went to ikea too today to buy my children new bed and I was delighted! I also enjoy the fabric department and really loooove to spend hours in there! lol...
Great shopping!
A dragon is a symbol of Ljubljana, it is on its coat of arms. That's why we have so many dragons around. :)
