Before grasses fall

I have learned the other day that hay smells so nice because of one kind of a grass, called sweet vernal grass. Also its Latin name Anthoxanthum odoratum tells us that it smells nice. I tried to find it yesterday in the meadows near my home. I can't say that I found it, but the meadows, those that are still left, looked beautiful. As soon as the soil is dry again, most of them will be mowed. Many young birds will die because of that, because of the greed of farmers. Nothing can stop them, except more money. There have been strong winds blowing lately across our land, and yesterday I spotted some people flying kites. Maybe it is time to fly mine, too. To gain some back muscles, right! :) To send some wishes high up the sky. Karma for today: Never give up on what you really want to do.
