The most beautiful city in the world

So says the Mair of Ljubljana for the city I live in. Yesterday I had a meeting in a city center and while walking through the streets I had to admit that Ljubljana was beautiful. I have always liked the old city center, but now it is getting its fresh face. Most of the people I met yesterday were tourists with maps and cameras in their hands. Ten years ago they still thought that there was war in my country, today they flood the streets. I hope that next year the works will be finished and then the city will shine in all its beauty. Though, some architects still want to erect their own ugly modern monuments everywhere... Well, I should go there more often anyway... I even spotted several new bridges over the Ljubljanica river that I had never seen before... I will share more photos of my home city with you when the memory card in my camera won't be full like it was yesterday... A pity!

Karma for today: Loosen your grip on what is always changing, let go of struggle, and let go of suffering. (I am afraid that I can't do this, it is too hard.)

Ljubljana je res precej spremenila svojo podobo v zadnjih nekaj letih. Tudi sama sem šla zadnjič na potep in sem bila zelo prijetno presenečena. Bi morala it večkrat ...
