On the track again

It feels so good when life is getting back on track again. Not that the restoration of my home is over; no, far from it, but for a day or two things seemed to be normal again.Špela came again. She is patronizing in a way. Too serious for her age. The cat carried her kittens away which is not so bad. The black one was running away all the time and Špela's dog tried to lick and bite it. So, it is peaceful in my garden right now, with only Pikec and Jack occupying the space.
I was baking again, after such a long time. It has been more than a month since I last used the oven. It felt so good making Scottish baps again! I really like baking though I don't like cooking so much. That's what I found out yesterday while making cherry strudel. Also the planting and sowing in my garden is almost finished. I will just have to water the little plants from now on. It is going to be hot these days! I love this time of a year!

Though, there's lots to do at work. I won't be here behind the screen on Wednesday and I am so much looking forward to Thursday. And like this time passes so quickly...

The bread looks gorgeous - yours is always so uniform and the same size, mine is so much more haphazard! I LOVE strudel, but it's something I have very rarely.

There was a gorgeous travel show on Slovenia over the weekend, I for the life of me can't remember the name of the city, on the coast, something starting with P.

Can you give the recipy of that very goodlooking bread? I would love to try.
Could you please send me your e-mailadres so I can reply to your comments on my blog? Thanks.
I would like to know how you dry the elderblossom.

Victoria: Portorož or Piran it is. Both are nice towns, Piran is in my opinion even more beautiful. You are welcome to come and see for yourself. :)

Kristel: Recipe for the Scottish baps comes (hopefully) into your e-mailbox tomorrow as I have it at home. I will try to post a photo of elder blossoms drying on my shelves tomorrow with some directions how to do it. I hope you will like both.

Mmm. I wish I could just reach through my monitor and help myself to one of your gorgeous baked goods. They look delectable.
