Another ordinary day

I miss them already, hot summer days and bright green leaves. I keep searching for the smallest patches of vibrant greens everywhere, and lately it seems, that there's only moss that gives some color to the nature. Rains, it keeps raining and the weather forecast doesn't predict any other than that for the next five days - rain. I don't wonder that some people don't wait until the day of Christmas Eve to decorate the tree. Though, I will wait until that day, it makes it all more festive for that day and the tree keeps its needles until end of January. After a week or so I finally baked some bread. Eating cereal for meals becomes boring after a while, so it was nice to have a piece of bread for snack today. I was thinking yesterday while baking, about year 2008 and I am glad that it will be over soon. It was the worst year in my life and it seems that it is upon me with its final stroke. I am still smiling, though. Of course, this doesn't mean that 2009 will be any better but at least there is some hope left.

Happy weekend!

I have to believe that 2009 will be better than 2008.
You have a good weekend as well.

Sorry to hear that 2008 wasn't your year. I know what you are talking about. It also wasn't my year. But i knew right at the beginning of 2008 that it wouldn't be my year and that 2009 would be MY YEAR. I cant wait to start the new year and I hope that it will also be YOUR YEAR! Take care, Erika
PS: I'm also still smilling!

That green is so vibrant. There's always tomorrow, but today's the only thing we can be certain of.
