B

I like playing games, so I volunteered to play along a letter game on Kari's blog. She gave me the letter B. I know why! :) Some of you know this, too, don't you? Though, I won't reveal the secret here on my blog today. Not yet.

Here is a list of 10 things in my life starting with the letter B:

1. Breakfast - I eat my breakfast every day. Usually Čokolino, the food for children. The only exception is when doctors say I shouldn't, which is fortunately not very often.
2. Balloons - once upon a time I received a gift certificate for a balloon flight. Nice experience. I always watch them in the sky when they fly by. I am also a fan of those small balloons that are often hanging around my garden for birthdays.
3. Birthday - special day in a year, when I take time for myself. I always take a day off from work on my birthday and I do what I like. One day I might share with you a poem, written by Adam, my ex-boyfriend. About birthdays.
4. Bow - since my childhood I was the admirer of Native Americans. Of course, I had my little bow when I was a child. I have one today as well, but it is that real one, made of jew. Made for grownups. I lost most of the arrows last year, shooting with it, so dust has started to collect on it. I love my bow, it is one of my treasures. I have received it for my birthday, from Ž.
5. Bungee jumping - a day or two before graduating from the University in 1994 I walked around the market and noticed those brave people jumping off about 40 m high platform. I joined them, of course. When I was standing high above everyone on a platform, I heard a man saying: "She will not have a courage to jump, you will see." Why not, if I wished to? Of course, it was so much easier when I put my glasses off my nose. :) Next one on my wish list is a parachute jump.
6. Broker - back then in that era when I was still a student, I was sure that I would be a broker one day. Stock market and things like that. Well, perhaps I would be rich today but I think I am much happier doing what I do.
7. Bold - I wish I was bolder, life would be so much easier if I was. This is what is written on a leaflet hanging on the wall in my living room: "Whatever you would do, begin it. Boldness has courage, genius, and magic in it." Words written by Wolfgang Goethe. Nice. If only it was that easy.
   
8. Bumblebees - beside dragonflies, I admire observing bumblebees. Have you ever noticed how many different species are there? Probably some of the plants would become extinct if they were not living on our planet.
9. Blue velvet - one of the songs that I often start humming out of the blue. I don't know why. Obviously I like it. :)
10. Boštjan - is a name of my younger brother. It is amazing how we are similar to each other. We didn't like to play together when we were young but now it is very nice to talk to him. He shares the name with a man I was holding hands with on that special day in my life.

Of course, you know already that I like Baking, experimenting with different recipes for Bread, Blueberries, Blue sky, Blogging and Books. Probably you don't know that my favorite vegetable in my teens was Brussels sprouts and that I like everything made of Bananas but can hardly eat them alone, just like they are straight from the peel. Maybe you know that my work is connected with the Birds, which are far from my favorite animal.
