Pay It Forward, Part 2

It was in November 2007, a few days after Victoria's birthday, when I found her blog. I liked it immediately, and still today I enjoy reading her posts. One of her posts was about Pay It Forward, an exchange of something homemade. I left a comment and a couple of days before last Christmas I received something that she made especially for me. Something to keep my memories and stamps in. She added some nice goodies into the pack, I really like yellow letterpress cards and matching envelopes. The fabric is gorgeous and that card that she sent with the package is standing right there where I can see and read it everyday. Thank you Victoria, my dear friend! :) You made my day again. The PIF rules say that you have to make the same promise on your blog, that you will make something homemade within one year for the first three persons who leave a comment on that post. As there was only Victoria who left a comment at that time, I open this game again, for only two of you.

If there is anyone out there who would like to receive something homemade from me and of course, pay it forward, leave a comment. Give me a hint, if there is something I created and you really liked it. Though, I will not make any dreamcatchers again. I made only two in my life and both were for very special people.

So, here are the rules and here you can check what I made for Victoria and her girls. I don't dare to mention how many times I had to unstitch the stiches or how much time I spent making those presents. But I think it was well worth it! :)

I promise I will make a gift and send it, I promise it will not be a baked good. OK that is my idea of a bit of humor on Tuesday. I will have to think about what to make.

I would like to join the PIF, I like the idea sooo much. I like everything you do and everything you make me smile. And happy. Happy! I like your paper craft, I've just bored a hole into my kitchen ceiling to be able to hang lots (and lots) of origami birds I intend to make. Hm, have I mentioned how much I admire your kusudama ...

:) Carol, just send me your address if you would like to play along to: pinafelis (at) yahoo (dot) com.
Baked goods are fine, I think, but I haven't tried to send them yet as I am not sure that customs would let the package go through.

I realize I'm too late on this, but I totally would have commented to participate. I did this last year (or was it the year before?) and thought it was very interesting. Perhaps you'd be interested in an a private exchange anyway?

Emily, of course you are welcome to play along. Like the third person on the list as Carol doesn't have a blog. I am excited, though I have still no idea what I will make for you. :)
