Memories

Yesterday I browsed through the rare photos I have from the previous century. I actually wanted to show you one from New Zealand, where I stand together with B on a parking place, he in a nightgown and me in pyjamas. It was a beautiful morning, there was no living soul around and at the same moment that the camera was heard to make "click", a car drove by. I am sure that guy in the car thought we were rather mad. :)
What always makes me cry is looking at the photos of a cat, called Kiki, which I was feeding while living in Kranjska Gora, a little town surrounded by the mountains. Her mom and siblings disappeared one day, so she was the only one to stay behind. A bit wild but at the same time very gentle. The last time I saw her, she was with four kittens of her own. I cried. Although so many years had passed, she jumped into my lap and stayed there until I had to leave. I miss her but I am not so sure that she is still there after so many years. She would be seven years old this summer.

Have a nice Monday!

And the winners are: all four of you - Piščanček, Kari, Emily and Teresa. Please leave your address at pinafelis (at) yahoo (dot) com. I have already made small packages which will go on their way to you as soon as I receive your addresses.
