Food for gods

I spent the first part of Sunday in the mountains again. Among the people. It was crowded up there. I took the solitary paths, but still I had to say "hello" about 50 times at least. These mountain pastures are very easily accessible, so no wonder people go up there in crowds. This time I took my binoculars with me, and spotted some new birds. Guys at work were happy about the data I provided for the bird breeding atlas; obviously not many ornithologists go up there. I enjoyed the day but at the same time I felt a bit lonely. Eating food for gods feels much better if there is someone sitting next to you with whom you can share your day.
