The last days of life

Well, some more deep thoughts are on the way... :)

Yesterday when I was driving back from work, I was thinking about my life again. If someone told me that I had only two months still to live, would I live my life differently than I do it now? I don't think so. Probably I wouldn't spend so much time at work, that is. Depends on this what I would have to accomplish. I guess I would love to see as much of the world as possible and meet all of my friends, whether you live here in Slovenia or somewhere else in the world. Meeting people makes life full. It seems that I have to learn this quite quickly. To tell the truth, I am not very pleasant and funny person in real, though I would love to be. I suppose my upbringing has something to do with it, I've lived with morose and sullen people until I moved away when I was 26.

I really wonder what is the meaning of my life. Why I am here? I guess that I've spent my life until the beginning of this year like being the biggest egoist in the world. Living just for myself. Taking care of myself, reading books, staying at home. I hope to live the next part of it for the people, with the people, sharing with them as much of my knowledge as possible. Though, what is it that I actually have to share with them? With you?

Happy weekend everyone!

It's difficult isn't it - why am I here? I haven't come up with a conclusive answer as yet! And I think that if I had only a few months to live, I would continue on much the same. I would love to cram in a bit more travel, of course, but I would need to be amongst the familiar too. But I agree with you Pina, I need to reach out to people more too. I think I am too much in my own little bubble, at times. To me, it seems to simply break down to showing people you love them :)

You know, Emily, I love this blogland. It is so nice to find familiar people all around the world, knowing that I am not the only one who is going through a painful journey. It is good to learn from people, finding out the mistakes we make and also the good inside of us. So, let us reach out to people more! :)

I completely agree with you, Pina. I think blogland is great. I have met a lot of really nice people who I wouldn't have met otherwise :)
