I still haven't found how this shrub is called:Do you know? It has these beautiful "flowers" on at this time of a year.

Zgleda čudovito!!! Žal, ne bi vedela. Prvič sploh vidim, kje pa to raste?

Raste sredi Ljubljane, ob nekih blokih blizu Tivolske ceste. Grm je visok kakšne tri-štiri metre. Verjetno bo treba it enkrat pogledat, ko bo imel cvetove, mogoče ga bom potem našla v knjigah...

No idea what they are, but they are lovely. I'd love some in my garden!

It looks something like a flower we have here in Australia - the Fuschia.

Looks a bit like a very colourful version of a belladonna fruit...

Dear Pina,

This is Clerodendrum trichotomum, the Slovenian name is trovejni klerodendron or usodovec, the English name is harlequin glorybower. It is native in China and Japan. You could find it in our Arboretum. I admire this tree since I was a child, my neighbour has it and I go by every day. Today I stopped and asked for the name. I'm sure you'll like the Slovenian name usodovec ;-).

Have a nice day, Maja

Hvala, Maja. Res lepo "cvetje", ali ne!? Zdaj se moram le še potrudit in enkrat it mimo tega grma, ko bo v pravem cvetju. :)

Bodecea, I thought at first it was some version of belladonna plant, but this is actually a tree.
