Days when masks rule the world

It is the only Tuesday in a year, when I wear a mask. I am the only one in our office. Like almost every year. People don't like wearing masks, although it would be fun. I have eaten so many donuts already, that I will need to have a diet in the next few days... However, my body obviously takes care of itself quite well.On Saturday we were counting birds again, so Ž and I walked across the fields trying to find Great Grey Shrikes in that area. We were successful, spotting five of them. It was a pleasant day, as we all gathered later, having pizzas and chatting for hours.Yesterday, when I opened a mailbox, a blue envelope fell from it. It looks kind of a violet color on a photo, but its original color is blue. The one I love at the moment. It was a surprise, a great surprise for me to receive a Valentine's card. Tears were running down my cheeks, when I opened the envelope, knowing that I am not alone in this world. There are people out there who think of me, although I might be surrounded by some who take me for granted. At the same time a thought crossed my mind - maybe I take some people for granted too, although I shouldn't.

Karma for today: Receive life's gift.
