New things in my home

I've been creative, a bit... Good news, isn't it? :) I made a pillow cover from the Ikea fabric I'd bought months ago. Looks lovely, doesn't it? Fish likes it a lot. ;)Reading Pioneer Woman's blog, or at least browsing through the photos she shares with us, I couldn't resist not to have it - her new cookbook. I have it on my desk, and when I look at the cover, I always feel certain kind of joy. Flipping through the pages makes me feel like coming home. Maybe because I have always liked Wild West. So, for the end of today's post, let me announce the winner of my giveaway. The stamp will go to Emily of Paperseed. Congratulations, and I hope, as always, that the letter will arrive safely to the other part of the world.

Ena luštna kuharska - če morda še nisi videla, več kot must see Julie and Julia z Maryl Streep in Amy Adams. Človeka resno prime ne samo bolj redno pisati blog, ampak bolj redno kuhati :-).

Julia Child je bila neverjetna; njena kuhinja je eksponat v Smithsonianu (http://americanhistory.si.edu/juliachild/). Those were the days, kaj ;-). Aja, pa kolikor se spomnim iz filma, je svojo najbolj znamenito jed kuhala v piskru s Piščančkinega linka :-).

Piščanček, tudi jaz se ga ne bi branila. Zdi se mi, da jih imajo tudi v Ikei.

Ja, MH, film sem gledala, ne vem, ali sem kaj zapisala o njem tudi tukaj, sem ga pa priporočila moji mami, ki seveda z ogledom odlaša...
Se bom pa resno morala lotit kuharije, vsaj spomladi, ker tole hranjenje po menzah nikamor ne vodi...

Huh, Emily, I guess you will have to wait for a while, I almost don't cook these days anymore. :) But I will let you know, when I try any of the recipes.

@ HM: The Julie/Julia Project sem gledala ta vikend!!! Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, like it very very much :-) Spet sem dobila kuharske popadke (no, vsaj željo, da bi bilo fino več kuhat doma) in celo malo sem oprezala za knjigo :-) Sodeč po kazalu, bi bila uporabna tudi za vegi-pupo :-)

Jaz zdaj že kar lep čas ne jem več mesa; merjeno že tako rekoč v letih ;-). Kuham kar veliko, predvsem zaradi Lucy Vanel in njenega bloga. V menzah pa se ne prehranjujem več od novega leta, ko sem si obljubila, da bo vse, kar bom dala v usta, imelo dobro karmo :-). In moram priznati, da je dosti, dosti lažje, kot sem mislila; četudi pač ne jem vselej toplo, ker si hrano nosim v službo od doma. Mislim, da za kaj takega človek bolj kot voljo rabi disciplino.
