It was like 4000 years ago

Doesn't this look romantic? It does, if you don't have water in front of your door and in the street. There were floods where I live. This is where we usually park our cars: And this is where I parked Zelenc these past few days:We won't be able to eat anything from the garden this year anymore, and this is what I am most sorry for. We helped each other as much as we could, but mostly we were saving our own homes. I saved this little one, a mole: Now we are waiting for the next rain to fall. Today, tomorrow, during the weekend.

We couldn't properly wash ourselves (what a luxury was to take a shower after two whole days and sleepless nights), my mom did the laundry yesterday for me and washed the dishes, too. Fortunately they were not flooded.

Though, I have to say that my spirits were high all the time and I enjoyed the scenery a lot. When I was a little girl I dreamed of rowing in a boat on Ljubljana moor, like they did many thousands years ago when there used to be a lake. Now my dream came true. :)

I'm sorry you've had to go through flooding, but happy that you are okay. We are actually in a drought here. The last two days they have issued red flag fire alerts - it's so dry and hot. Hopefully we will get some rain soon. Take care!

Kne (kajneda, bi se reklo pravilno slovensko :))! Samo včasih je treba čakati celo večnost. Ali celo življenje...

Hope that the floods don't come again. Sorry for the impact this has had on your harvest too. And the poor little mole! Take good care.

Oh Pina, what a shame. While I can see it would bring a little adventure with it, I'm sure it brings lots of mess, damage and inconvenience too.
