Colors

I've been a bit creative lately. I desperately needed some rest after running around the country every weekend. I guess it would had been different in summer but in winter... no, absolutely this is not a time of a year I am fond of.I finally managed to find out how to knit a sock. I haven't taken a photo of it yet, and I am not sure I ever will. :) But I have given away some pot holders; I made one for mom and one for my friend. So, if you need the last minute gift, then you can crochet a pot holder. It took me about an hour to make one. Good for a beginner. :)I was also spending lots of money on felt again. The felt balls on the photo are made of wool I already had at home. I plan to do something with these balls... soon. And Valentine's day was just an ordinary day. I bought the book Love by Paulo Coelho. Lovely words for everyone, either in love or brokenhearted. Enjoy your Monday!

Pina, can you please post some instructions on how to make the pot-holder and how to make felt balls? They're great :)

A beautiful job! I can't seem to do anything creative lately, but I love looking at what you've accomplished.

Felt balls:
One of the tutorials how to make them is here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sOl-RXkq4Bo (I have always wondered why people in the UK still have two tubs, one for cold and one for hot water? I have never managed to wash my hands properly this way...)

By the way: I never leave water running like the woman on that video tutorial. Why waste so much water for one felt ball?
I put some hot water in a pot and re-warm it later if needed.
