Farewell, my dear mountains

The mountains are calling and I must go.
~ John Muir

I bid farewell to my mountain hikes for this year; lots of snow fell up there last week and in such circumstances I stay at home or at least somewhere lower than 2000 m above sea level. I spent two beautiful and bright days up there among rocks and grasses and some solitary birds.
One of the rare flowers on my way to Lučka Brana.
The third peak from the right is still waiting for me. Hopefully I will be up there next year.
I was up that peak on the left last year - Ojstrica.
My final destination this time - Lučka Brana, a peak behind the mountain on the left.
Korošica, the favorite place of my grandfather.
On one of the peaks above Lipanca (Brdo).
Blue beauty on my way to Debela peč.
Farewell, my dear mountains (from Mrežce).
Back by the huts on Lipanca.
The batteries in my mobile phone were full on both days and I called Ž several times while I was on my hikes, just in case as I don’t want any rescuers to be behind my heels again. I took the easy paths. Or at least I thought so; there were some wires for easier climbing stretched over the rocky walls and there were also some dangerously steep slopes below the path… But that didn’t matter as I haven’t been so happy for a long time.

It looks beautiful! Reminds me so much of the walking we did in Austria...
