Sometimes there are so many things I have to do in the afternoon that I can hardly squeeze in cooking of my meal. Yesterday I had to take back the books to the library which usually takes me more than an hour to do. If I have to drive from home and not from work like I usually do. I did some sewing too but everything didn't work out like I had imagined so I left everything for today. Probably my ideas are just too big for my knowledge...
So, in between all that (and more) I squeezed in my meal. I found a recipe on the internet for curd gnocchi (njoki in Slovenian) and it looked like they will be made very quickly. Indeed they were. I mixed 250 g curd with about 5 tbs flour. I added some salt (I should have put in more than just a pinch) and rolled the dough into a long 'snake'. I cut this into gnocchi and cooked them in boiled salty water for about 5 minutes. Sauce was made of melted butter to which I added some gorgonzola cheese and lots of cream. And lots of dried basil. I mixed everything together and that it was, my dinner for that day. I know, no vegetables, so not really healthy. But at least the taste was good.

Geoff's out tonight starring in a friend's short film, which is pretty fun. I'll be having a favourite quick dinner of mine - quick brown rice with brocolli stir fried with garlic, chilli and lemon - lots of salt, I'm a salty kind of girl.
Yum! :) I wish you could send me some!
