Folding paper

I have been attracted to folding paper since I was a little girl. I still admire those people who are experts at this. My grandmom's birthday is approaching, so I tried to make paper flowers yesterday. I used plain white paper but I will have to buy some thiner and color paper for this project. Anyway, my grandmom doesn't like white flowers. Orange will do, or red, purple, magenta. Even blue would be nice. I should try to make kusudama (paper ball made of many such flowers glued together) one day, too, it would be a nice decoration for spring arrival. Or for Christmas too, if the right colors would be used.I found the tutorial on Folding Trees web site.

Beautiful. Thanks for the link. I'd like to try this for myself soon. You did a really good job.

Gorgeous - I never did get to try the star pattern you did so kindly for me last year. I'd like to think I will this year .....
